With the sacking of Rafeal Benitez , what's next with the Merseyside outfit? 

The blue side of Merseyside have appointed former ex player and fan favorite, Duncan Ferguson to steer them in their upcoming games to steady the ship before they can appoint a coach.

Ferguson will serve as an interim manager till they can find a suitable coach to steer them away from relegation battle and unite the dressing room.

Former coach and present Belgium boss ,Roberto Martinez, is the board's favorite to replace Benitez on a permanent deal , but they can't come to agreement with the Belgium Fa who sees Roberto as untouchable until after the world cup in Qatar 2022. 

They will start conversations with other candidates to find a permanent replacement for Rafael Benitez in the mean time Duncan Ferguson will be in charge.
